Simon and Laura's Panamanian English Wedding - Salcombe, Devon

Simon and Laura travelled from their home in Panama to SAlcombe in South Devon to get married! Simon grew up in and around Salcombe on his summer holidays as a child. Since meeting Laura in Panama where Simon works, they have holidayed in Salcombe and naturally it was the perfect place to get married. Salcombe is certainly becoming a destination for many over seas couples.

Laura and her bridal party got ready in one of Salcombes older properties, a wonderful cottage close to the Church. A very relaxed feel to the mornings preparations and great opportunities for photos. After a short walk to Cliff House we met up with Simon and his grooms men, all very relaxed in the sunshine and a true Panama feeling was on the cards. The whole day was planned to feel relaxed and fun, with a little bit of english wedding tradition. The ceremony took place in the Library on the top floor of Cliff House with its wonderful views across the estuary.

The evening kicked off with a Samba band to get us all in the mood followed by a fab conga! This was a stylish, fun and relaxed Party of a Wedding!

Harriett and Luke's Stylish Wedding at Salcombe Harbour Hotel, Salcombe, Devon

What a stunning day! Harriett and Luke travelled to Salcombe with their family and loved ones from their Wiltshire home. Salcombe is very much a UK Wedding destination, based in the South West and famed for its stunning beaches and luxurious hotels.

Harriett looked absolutely stunning, keeping everything simple and wowing everyone in a backless dress complete with cathedral legnth veil. Luke and his men opted for a very modern look, with pale coloured suits, Bow ties and the fashion of loafers and no socks!

The couples daughters were beautiful flower girls and their nephew was paige boy. So much love and warmth from guests and the couple them selves.

After the church we whisked off to North Sands, a very busy and popular loaction, but cleverly with good angles managed to make it look quiet. The wind was proving to be just right to make Harrietts veil work to its best use.

The Salcombe Harbour Hotel was base for prep and the Wedding Breakfast, stunning views, location and food. Its one of our favourite Wedding Venues.

Enjoy this small selection of photos from the day, feel free to leave comments.....

Lauren and Olivers Pre Wedding Shoot, Salcombe, Devon

A couple of weeks ago, Lauren and Oliver popped down to Salcombe to see me to chat about their Wedding Plans and to have their Pre Wedding Shoot. A dull damp saturday afternoon, but smiles all around as we went for a walk at Snapes Point. So looking forward to their Wedding at Salcombe Harbour Hotel. Pre Wedding Shoots are a great way to go for a walk and a chat and get a chance to relax and enjoy being photographed. It also helps me see what my couples are like together!

A Wedding by the Sea, St Clements, Hope Cove Devon

This very very tiny Church sits on the Cliffs looking out across the Sea. Perched on the Cliff between Inner and Outer Hope, Hope Cove in South Devon.

I have been lucky to shoot a couple of Weddings here, its only been possible to get married here under special license but thats all about to change!

This featured St.Clements Church Wedding is of Michelle and Paul. Michelle got ready at her mum and dads house in Inner Hope and choose the little Church for her Wedding rather than go in land to the larger Church at Galmpton.

The sun shone, the Cove looked tranquil and we had the most amazing weather to capture some stunning images to keep forever.

The old Life Boat House and thatched cottages of Inner Hope provided glorious back drops to the photos, but most of all the evening sun and misty sun set proved too good to miss! This is a Coastal Wedding at its best!
